Transparent solar panels

 

In today's world many activities depend on electricity.Currently the world's most widely used fossil fuels are rapidly depleting. Fossil fuels also have a detrimental effect on the environment. Solar panels can be named as one of a solution to world's problems with energy. 

Transparent solar panels can be introduced as the next leap in the field of solar energy which has grown over time. 

The history of these goes back to 2014.In 2014 , the university of Michigan was able to creat a fully transparent solar panel.Production of 100% transparent solar panels was begin in the United states and Europe by 2020.The reason for this is to make the future alternative energy supply of those countries more efficient. 

It works as a solar concentrator. It absorbs ultraviolet and infrared rays from the sunlight  passing through the glass. It is then converted in to electricity. 

This solar panels made in this way are used in many different ways today. Transparent solar panels are used at Michigan states university. 

Transparent solar panels used for windows 

A separate space is required to install the existing solar panels. But transparent solar panels can also be used for window glasses. This technology will be used in smartphones and microcomputers in the future. And also this transparent solar panels will be used for space technology.
